All orders and payments made through blackbondbooks.com are processed and stored locally at our physical location or in the form of asymmetrically encrypted (RSA) backup data in the physical possession of Black Bond Books. The decryption key to this data is known only to Black Bond Books and is not stored or recoverable by third parties.
 
Personal Information
We collect and store our customers' information at their discretion. This information may include home and/or business address(es), contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, and credit card information. We use RSA encryption for credit cards, 2048 bit, and the private key is blowfish-cbc encrypted. All customer information collected is encrypted and stored locally on the Black Bond Books premises.
We do not provide, share, or sell customer information to third parties. The information we collect at the time of checkout or account creation is used for order fullfillment, communications about orders or purchases. Should you wish to receive our monthly newsletter, you must manually sign up yourself or indicate that you wish to be signed up. We do not provide our customer's information or activity to any third parties for analytical use.

Return Policy
Black Bond Books does not refund items except in the case of publisher or manufacturer's error. Any orders placed through our online or physical stores are considered a commitment to purchase, and a restocking fee may apply should you wish to cancel.
Items purchased off the shelf in store may be exchanged for store credit, with receipt within 30 days, if they are in unread condition. Sales associates have the right to refuse for exchange any items they deem to be in "read" or otherwise "unfit to sell" condition.
 
Web Browsing
Our website is powered by TBM Bookmanager Ltd., and uses cookies to allow users to remain logged in. We store access logs for up to a year, exclusively to debug issues. No analytics are performed on these logs and none of the information in logs is shared with anyone outside of the Bookmanager development team.
